School Age Programs
We offer School Age Programs during the school year and throughout the summer.
Enrollment for before/after school for the upcoming school year begins in late January for current families. Enrollment for families new to NBCC begin in mid February. Before School Program
Our before school program serves Clinton Elementary and the Indianola Informal K-8 School.
At 8:30am* we walk the children to Clinton Elementary School. In inclement weather, we will drive. We will drive the children to the Indianola Informal K-8 School.
On days when school is closed, full-day care for your child will be offered, if space is available, for an additional $55 per day unless your child is also enrolled in the After School Program. Because we have a limited number of spaces, you must inquire if there is a space prior to bringing your child. Reservations are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
We provide a light breakfast and activities for the children before they go to school.
*Departure times are subject to change due to bus schedules.

After School Program
We serve children enrolled in Clinton Elementary School and Indianola Informal K-8 School.
Our After school program provides school-age children with an active, yet relaxed learning environment. The children have the opportunity to participate in both teacher and child planned activities, eat snack, work on homework, and enjoy time with their friends. The After School Program consists of children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade, with three teachers. After children arrive at NBCC, they will be split up into classes based on their age. We offer full-day care to children enrolled in our After School Program on school days out, winter vacation and spring vacation.
An NBCC after school teacher will walk or drive to pick up the children from Clinton Elementary. They will drive to Indianola to pick up the children.
The After School Program is closed when NBCC is closed.

School Age Summer Program
The Summer Clubhouse program provides full day care for children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade. Teachers will plan daily projects and activities based on the children’s interests. Children can participate in weekly field trips, cooking projects, reading and writing activities, the library’s summer reading program, creative expression such as art, music and dance, service projects, science experiments, and much, much more!
