Curriculum

Our Part-time Preschool program offers children a chance to explore friendships, drama, music, movement, art, language, science and more in a group setting. Our play-based, emergent curriculum allows us the opportunity to offer the children a variety of activities based on their interests and developmental levels. We also assist children with learning to work in a group setting, using language to interact with their friends and to constructively resolve their differences. The four teachers in this program have a combined total of over 75 years of experience, most of it right here at NBCC! This program runs from late-August until late-May.

We offer a Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Tuesday/Thursday schedule. The long-day option will be 9 am to 3:30 pm and the morning sessions will be 9 am to 11:30 pm.

Early extended care is available for both programs. With the purchase of a sticker, you can bring your child from 8 am to 9 am.

Lunch bunch is available for the morning sessions. With the purchase of a sticker, your child can stay for lunch and play from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
